The directory will be updated weekly and new members will be featured on the main ALN page.

Membership dues are determined from annual library operating budgets. NOTE: In the case of school libraries, individual libraries as well as school districts can become members. When a school district becomes a member, all the school libraries in that district are considered members. The membership dues for school districts can be determined on the districts’ annual operating budget or the total of membership dues for each school library, not to exceed $500. (more…)

On December 14, 2007, the State of Alaska approved the incorporation of the Alaska Library Network as a non-profit organization. Hooray! We’re moving ahead!
Congratulations to the Interim Board of Directors, the State Library and everyone who has participated in the process of transforming the Alaska Library Network from an informal cooperation of libraries to a structured organization to support libraries.
