The Alaska Library Network, a 30+ year informal collaboration between libraries, is becoming a real, live, formal organization! Draft articles of incorporation and by-laws have been written and AkLA will be sponsoring a grant to help ALN pay for legal and filing fees for incorporation. Efforts are underway to have the filing process completed by the end of 2007. A lot to do in a short period of time!Didn’t realize that ALN was that old? Read a short, historical overview.
